Collective Worship
Collective Worship is an integral part of our school day at Kislingbury CE Primary School. Collective Worship takes various forms across the week. The Collective Worship we offer is varied, invitational and thought provoking. It includes prayer, time for quiet reflection, song, direct biblical teaching and creative approaches to provoke thinking.
We use music in our worship to help children further develop spirituality. Music is chosen carefully for listening to and for singing. At our school we enjoy singing every week and at events such as Harvest, Remembrance, our Christmas Carol Concert, Easter and Leavers Service.
We invite visitors into our school each week to lead worship. These visitors include representatives from the Church, CSALT and The Lighthouse Trust.
Mondays - Focus on school value through stories from The Bible.
Tuesdays - Visitor in to lead worship or Picture News - focus on events at a UK and global level with our values and British values included.
